Observational documentary director Sarah Collinson made a documentary film, produced by Hardcash productions, following the lives of people in North Korea over the course of a year through their illicit phone calls to defectors in the South. I was approached to create animation to be interspersed with the live-action footage. The documentary was broadcast in the UK as part of Channel 4’s Dispatches series, and on ITV.
